凡士林內的石蠟，會破壞皮膚調節機制，是真的嗎? - 凡士林的主成分是石蠟(petrolatum)，為化學上相當安定的物質，因與水不互溶，在保養及化粧品中，被當成是油性鎖水保濕劑，惰性很高，幾乎不會和其他物質產生化學變化，也幾乎不會氧化和變質，塗於皮膚表面可有效阻擋水分蒸發，是最常見的保濕成分。
- 我國與歐美各國均允許石蠟添加於化粧品中，據國內的化粧品原料基準規範，化粧品所使用的石蠟原料來源應由精製而得，並定有雜質的限量及檢測。石蠟本身為安全性高的物質，目前尚未有研究指出，作為皮膚外用時，會破壞皮膚調節機制，民眾不需過度擔憂。
- 食藥署提醒，「正確選擇」及「適當適量」的使用，購買產品時，應選擇標示完整，避免選購來源不明或過期的產品。
